Unhappy Predetermined Motion Time Study

Hello,
My company asked me to simulate a predetermined time study for a quotation. How do I do it? Is there any guidelines? Are there any lists for standard process time such as grabbing things, moving things, insert screws etc? So far I have been checking several websites but not much help .

Please help!

Cheers and Thanks!

Default PTS options

There are several Predetermined Time Systems (PTS) available today. The least complex (and the one which I prefer to use whenever possible) is MODAPTS.

You have a couple of options available for this specific request. First, there is a three day training course available which will certify you as a MODAPTS practitioner and you can simulate the work yourself and develop the labor standard. Second, you can use consultants who are already certified to do the work for you and provide you with the labor standard for your quote. I would not recommend you attempting to locate resources on the web and perform this study without receiving some formal training or assistance, that is a recipe for disaster.

If you would like more information, please feel free to contact me by clicking my user name or at jclark@pmcorp.com.
