Question Work Measurement Technique for Office based staff

Hi all..

With warm regards to all members....

I am new to this forum. I am working in Human Resource field in a PSU in India. I have specific query with regard to latest technique/ metods used in Work Measurent. As we all know that work study is used basically for repetitive type of Jobs like assembly line jobs involving repetitive tasks involving less application of mind. I want to know about the specific method/ techniques to be used in case of studying/ measurement of Jobs like that of clerical Jobs/ office based Jobs those involving the application of mind, for planning manpower requirement of clerical/ office based staff in a given office setup.

Default How is work measurement relevant in social sector ?

I am also new to this forum and am working in a NGO where work measurement has been started in different sectors like livelihood, education and health. How is work measurement relevant here ?

Hello Sanjeev,

You can use Office MODAPTS to develop standards for clerical work. MODAPTS is a PMTS technique. If you need more information on MODAPTS, please call Rajesh Welekar at 98503 96030. Rajesh is currently working in Nagpur.
