Default Operations Research

Greetings. A classic, highly respected, and worthy text, now in the recently released 9th edition, is by Hillier and Lieberman (see http://highered.mcgraw-hill.com/sites/0073376299/information_center_view0/). An excellent text from a more managerial point of view is Bernard W. Taylor III's Introduction to Management, also in its 9th edition, publisher Prentice-Hall. Make sure you become acquainted with Solver, a tool in Microsoft Excel, if you aren't already familiar with it.

Hello! I agree with ewilliams. Bernard W. Taylor III's Introduction to Management is a really valuable source for learning linear programming. It covers both graphical and computer solutions. I learned Operations Research from this book and I appreciate it because of clear explanations and readability.
Good Luck!
