Default Production Scheduling Solutions

Hello:

After launching a new plant, our production team is now trying to schedule multiple production lines. We need right scheduling tool to support our existing ERP systems here. We are considering Asprova at this point. Do you know if Asprova is a stand alone system that would replace JD Edwards or would integrate with JD Edwards?

Asprova does not replace an ERP system but simply integrates with it using a customized, Asprova Business Interface (ABI). Information from JD Edwards is sent to the ABI, processed in Asprova, sent back to the ABI, and then published to JD Edwards. During processing, Asprova's advanced scheduling algoritms have the capability to sequence 10,000 jobs in less than five seconds. This is how it compliments an ERP system, giving you better precision and performance on the shop floor.
