Hello:
this is my 1st post here in this forum, hopefully u guys can be of help and so can i ^^, well im running through a littel problem using Arena... the thing is that i have 3 diffrent Entites that arrives in 3 different times, what i want to do is i want to batch them permenantly to one product (3 diffrent in, 1 out)... the solution that i tryed was using the Hold and Signal Modules, but it didnt work for me so far, sometimes the same entity type comes to the batch and makes the product, (ex. 2 entities comes from Create 1 and another 1 from Create 2) and Create 3 entity just stays in the Hold Queue (Hold 3 in my case) cause i have 3 different hold modules... P.S: this is a link for the simulation model that i have, please take a look @ it and tell me what can be done ^^, http://yfrog.com/6x43242342p |

Hi hikmat,
I had the same problem when it came to my simulation. I found the solution on this forum at the following link and the queue and queue pick option has worked for me. http://forums.pmcorp.com/manufacturing-simulation/946-assembling-components-using-arena.html Hope this helps |
