Hi
I need to simulate a service-center in Arena with 2 kinds of customers, premium- and non premium- members. Non-premium members are only served when there are no waiting premium customers, so premium members have to wait less longer than non-premium. The goal is to keep the waiting time for both members < 10 minutes (where the premium members have an adventage) There are 11 telephone lines available and now they are considering to open 2 kinds of contact lines (so dividing the 11 lines into): - one only available for premium members - one for premium & non premium members. You have to check if there’s any improvement (and if the waiting time is still <10 minutes). In Arena I have this: Arrive 1 [premium] Arrive 2 [non premium] Server 1 [for premium] Server 2[for both] Choose [redirecting customers to depart 1 or 2] Depart 1 [premium] Depart 2[non premium] My question is how to connect Arrive 1 to both servers, I tried pickstation but somehow it doesn’t work. Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance |

I would first direct your attention to the PICKQ and QPICK blocks in the Elements template. The Arena textbook (if you have it or have access to it), as I recall, gives a good explanation of these blocks.
