This is how i work on

The lean manufacturing system can be splitted into three major areas

a) If it is related to material handling then the tools are
1) Kanban
2) 2 bin system

b) If it is realted to Visual management then the tools are
1) 5S
2) Heijunka
3) SDWT concepts
4) Visual boards / Poka yoke baords etc..

c) If it is related to Problem solving then the tools are
1) SGA
2) six sigma
